Joanna Krata, Senior Patient Co-ordinator

Joanna Krata joined our admin team in 2017. She is responsible for all aspects of the private patient journey from initial contact through to arranging consultations and diagnostic tests through to booking cath lab procedures. Joanna brings a wealth of previous customer service experience from both the hospitality and healthcare sectors. She is passionate about ensuring the patient experience at the Dorset Heart Clinic is of the highest quality. In her spare time Joanna enjoys walking and deepening her understanding of English history through visiting National Trust properties.

Hayleigh Giles, Lead Financial Accountant

Hayleigh is responsible for the day-to-day financial management of the Dorset Heart Clinic. She holds a Masters of Science degree in Green Economy and is passionate about injecting sustainability into everyday life. Alongside her financial duties, she is heading up our company's drive towards greener and more environmentally friendly policies. In her spare time, Hayleigh volunteers as the treasurer of her local pub, enjoys walking her dog Ziggy and exercising her tarantula.

Tim Buck, Assistant Financial Accountant

Tim joined our finance team in 2021 and brings a veritable set of financial accounting skills gained over a successful four year career in financial services. He is responsible for all daily aspects of financial administration from invoice preparation, debtor and creditor management through to liaising with insurance companies. Various members of his family are involved in the healthcare sector and he brings this passion for patient care to the Dorset Heart Clinic. In his spare time, Tim volunteers at the Swanage Railway, sails on Tall ships and enjoys Archery, namely shooting pointy sticks at hay bales.

Adam Beetham, Finance Manager

Adam became Finance Manager for the Dorset Heart Clinic in 2019. He has a strong background in financial accounting as well as providing operational & commercial support. As well managing day-to-day finance operations, he is an expert in the preparation of long range plans and assisting the Executive Board with strategic decision making. He is ACCA qualified with an Honours Degree in Accounting and Finance. Adam also holds Masters Degree in Management and Finance from Southampton Business School. Adam is a strong sportsman having represented England in Rugby at under 16’s, West of England under 18’s and England Students. He is also a regional Shot Put champion 2006-2008 and a cricket enthusiast. He currently plays for Lymington CC and a number of invitational teams; he has also represented Dorset CC.

Medical Advisory Committee

Dorset Heart Clinic has a Medical Advisory Committee (MAC) to ensure we achieve and maintain medical excellence across all our services. All medical practitioners that operate with us must complete a strict application process to apply for practising privileges and be part of our MAC. These practice privileges must be renewed annually. The MAC which offers guidance and advice on all areas of clinical practice and meets at regular quarterly intervals through the course of the year. The MAC has a robust clinical governance strategy with appointed leads for clinical governance and clinical audit. The MAC also reports into the University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust (UHD) Clinical Governance committees. This ensures robust controls are always in place for the quality and effectiveness of care we deliver. Our clinical director is Dr Jehangir Din who also holds the position of clinical director of the cardiology department at UHD. This closely joined governance and reporting structure helps to ensure clinical safety is maintained across all our services.

Executive Management Board

Dorset Heart Clinic is an innovative partnership between University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust (UHD) and Regent’s Park Healthcare (RPH). The partnership is led by an Executive Management Board (EMB) comprising senior executive directors from each organisation. UHD is represented by Mr Pete Papworth, Chief Financial Officer of RBCH and Dr Anil Ohri, Chief Executive of RPH. The EMB meets at quarterly intervals and provides strategic, financial and operational steer to the partnership.
